He's not new to basketball by any means but he finally started getting some media this year. This guy is HUGE! 7'7, 360 pounds. The guy doesn't even have to jump in order to put the ball in the basket. To dunk he gets on his tiptoes and puts it in! Freaking crazy! So do you think he would fair well in the NBA? All things considered he has knee problems, plays only 19 minutes a game (not even a half), averages 12 ppg, and 7 rpg. NBA star or not? Discuss

if he can't play full time then he's not worth it.

Shaq can't play full time but teams still paid him a crap load of money. I'm watching him play right now vs Ohio State, and he doesn't even go up and down the floor all the time. Looks like he is out of breath already in the first 12 minutes of the game. It took him about 10 seconds just to get down court. He would need to learn to move better to be able to be effective in the NBA imo.

Try goalie NHL. Dont have to run up and down a court, and body size isnt accountable with equipment restrictions.

(but good luck finding the equipment to fit)

Goalies have to have super quick reflexes. Even for as big as he is he wouldn't be able to cover the whole net and without being able to get down face enough the 5 hole would be the boon of his existance. Wouldn't go well for him.
